Know How - Your Capital!
Boot times of more than 10 seconds are often unacceptable, especially in the industrial environment. We are happy to share with you our experience concerning the optimization of boot times (with outcomes of < 1 second). After completion of this course, you will be able to achieve boot times in the range of one-digit seconds. In addition, we show you tools with which to analyze your system's behavior, and tools that help you to perfectly optimize your system.
To participate in this course, basic knowledge of the Linux operating system is expected as well as experience in dealing with the shell. In addition, basic knowledge of the programming language C is required. Our course Linux Fundamentals provides all requisite skills.
Day 1: Fundamental (boot loader, kernel, analysis, ...)
Day 2: Implementation of knowledge from day 1, practical applications (on a BeagleBone Board)
Duration: 4 half days remote or 2 days on site.
